The Courthouse Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

The breakfast was typical of any hotel offering it that I have stayed at. Some things better than others but left not feeling hungry to start the day.

I loved that this is a historical building. It made the visit very unique, and I was happy that it wasn't just another generic, boring hotel. The staff that I interacted with were also very nice and curtious, even when their computer systems were slow. The breakfasts were also good for a continental breakfast. There was actual HOT FOOD, compared to other hotels where the breakfasts are cold. Overall, it was great.

We loved the location as we could admire the bay during sunrise and sunset, a perfectly maintained and repurposed building with lots of history, the price was right considering the ratings, all the amenities in the building and the room were a nice a surprise, the included breakfast was a really nice touch, staff was helpful and friendly, it was a short stay but we will definitely book again the next time we visit the city.

I was quite disappointed with the breakfast at this hotel. I expected more variety and better quality. The selection was very limited, with only a few basic items available—definitely not up to the standard I’ve experienced at other hotels in the same category. It felt more like a budget hotel breakfast than what you’d expect from high review hotel. I hope they improve this in the future.

The hotel is in an old-ish wonderful building, with extra high ceilings and wonderful rooms. The breakfast was nice with a lot of choice. The staff was nice, friendly and helping. We really enjoyed our romantic vacation.
